City tours, day trips, and hiking with locals offered. I had a great time exploring famous attractions. The free WiFi was a nice touch, even though it didn't work most of the time.

We were in a big apartment so close to Sri Lanka, a quiet area, the center. It had a peaceful location in the city centre on arrival.

Located in a peaceful area outside of the bustling city center, Alex Home Stay offers a serene retreat. Close to a supermarket and surrounded by the beautiful Udawatte Kele forest, it provides a convenient location for nature lovers. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with amenities such as a kitchen and hot showers. The hosts, Alex and Malka, are incredibly helpful and welcoming, offering delicious meals and guiding services.

There may be limited options for dining or entertainment within walking distance as it is situated in a slightly industrial area, but easily accessible by tuk-tuk.

I recently stayed at a wonderful place called Alex Home Stay for 5 nights. The room had a stunning balcony view of the Knuckles Mountain Range. Alex and Malka, the hosts, were exceptional. Despite power outages, all amenities including A.C. and wifi were available and working. The house is set amidst trees with spectacular mountain views from the balconies and terrace. Malka's cooking was superb and they were so welcoming and caring. It was a perfect start to our Sri Lankan journey.

Great stay during our trip! 🌳 The location in the Udawatte Kele forest was simply amazing and everything was just perfect.

Great view from the room and balcony. Very calm and relaxing atmosphere. The hostess was accommodating and even provided hot water for our baby. She didn't charge us for the mineral water bottle that we accidentally took. The breakfast was delicious and filling.

The property is far from the town and not recommended for people with special needs due to the flight of stairs. Commute can be a problem if you don't have a car.

The balcony offers stunning mountain views, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The private entrance and seating area in the single room provide extra comfort and privacy.
